It's a little misleading because the prices on these displays have dropped dramatically since they were originally introduced. Note the pricing on new versions of these displays and you'll see why refurb prices are so low.
Which means you're not really saving much over current new prices (about $100 - $300), although that's not too bad I suppose.
you must also remember that refurb monitors arent exactly the most reliable product out there...and since the new ones arent much worse, it prbly makes sense just to buy those...
