So I was having the battery issues when I first got my 4s, was coming from a 3GS and that had better battery life.

Baught a charging case, was too big and was like $100 so I took my phone into apple, they said it was normal blah blah blah but gave me a new one...

The new update came out like 5 days after I updated... Now literally my battery won't ever charge to full it just sits at 96% and actually will go down while it's on the charger...

However the battery life is vastly improved it's just that it won't charge all the way, I did a full drain and charge but still won't charge all the way

I would exchange for another. It sounds like you have hardware issues. I am betting Apple released a batch if iPhones with bad batteries. and a simple software update will not fix.

Try recalibraring your battery, let it drain completly then charge till completly full.

I already did that, it still only charges to. 96%

This is unlike apple to release an update without it actually fixing it but ruining things... It's really upsetting the 4s is getting such bad press and Steve jobs isn't around to fix things...

Unacceptable they would release an update that ruins it... Did they not test it in a big group of phones
