i started to download world of warcraft on my macbook and i had to pause it to turn off my computer. how do i start it back up from where it left off?

since I dont have an active account and cant ask on WoW forums

to WoW players--if i have a character on an account and then i stop paying for that account and then later start up my subscription again, will my character still be there?

My friend played and he stopped and started without any trouble. As far as I know I could log onto the trial account and still be able to upgrade the account to full and play my characters.

See this Blizzard Support Page.

Yes, the Blizzard downloader application will resume your download. Just open it and let it go.

Yes, Blizzard offers the full client from their website for free, only creating the account costs money.

Yes, Blizzard will keep your character if you cancel your account, should you decide to come back later (I don't know what the time limit is on this).

Yes, some people find WoW really boring. This is irrelevant to those of us who don't. :)

I think I'm the only person in the world who found WoW really really boring!!

I found it quite boring too. Then again a lot of people find Soccer/ Football/ baseball/ F1 boring. It is all a matter of taste.
