i'm suddenly really loving the finder.

i did this (maybe not everyone will like it though): i applied the simple mode globally as default (press the beans button) to get rid from the ugly and imho not so useful sidebar totally. and the finder is in coverflow too.

so when i launch finder either from dock or hd-icon it's a simplified pretty coverflow and list ui. very quick to navigate and nice hierarchical view of folders/ subfolders.

i cropped it, since i have a big resolution.

anyhow maybe you like it, maybe you prefer the sidebar and the toolbar ontop. i for one like this one a lot and also navigating is very fast with hot-keys (like alt/ and/ or option + arrow keys, etc.) or by scrolling/ mouse itself.

but might be just user by user preference/ habits.
