omg i had hundreds of scratches on my U2 iPod, bought "Displex" and now my ipod looks brand new. it works like a charm. just add a little paste polish for about 2-3 minute ad there it us. it looks brand new. and it only cost around £3 - 4

has anyone used this on the nano yet? or on the 5g yet?

it will work mate, just add a tiny little bit of paste and give it a good wipe with the cloth 2 minutes....
 
Sounds like an abrasive cleaner ( aka brasso ). It should work, but should not be used repeatly as you will slowly remove the surface of the device. As opposed to resurfacing liquids ( aka Applesauce ) to fill in the scratches with a materal that has the same refractive properties.
