I guess I've been gone for too long and I just saw the geekbench scores on the 2.8GHz i7, which gets around 5900-6000 (32-bit) is impressive. Wow, laptops have sure caught up! I wonder what Sandy Bridge would get if its the Quad or even the 2 core versions.
 
I have one of these and my geekbench score on 32 bit is about 5898 and on 64 bit is 6419. Much faster than some other laptops that have quad-core i7 cpus.
