ok 2 things.

1. this is a beta for a reason. i would much prefer Apple to release it to devs first so they can deal with the bugs and provide feedback, rather than have people complain that Apple broke more than they fixed.

now i'm gonna put this in bold, because the people that don't know this need to rehearse it and say it 10 times.
2. Apple FIXED the bars. the bars have been displayed incorrectly ever since the iPhone released. now the bars are displayed properly. this isn't supposed to fix the signal issue, it's just displaying the bars properly.

that is all.

No - the bars WERE displayed correctly in an earlier version of OS 2.0. Apple CHANGED it when there were complaints of "low bars" in areas and didn't want to look like their phone was worse than others on the market.

This fix just changes that BACK to what it should have been all along indicating the (possibly) weak radio that's been in the iPhone since the beginning.

This is all too munchausen by proxy for me
