Wow, so annoying... my safari browser keeps jumping to the top of the page

why ? how can i fix this problem ?

it's a recurring problem. on a page with a lot of ads and a lot of html/flash
the page keeps jumping up to the top of the scroll bar.

it especially happens when I click a dialogue box, such as this one. I click the area to input my text and it just jumps to the top and does not let me do anything about it, I can scroll down but as soon as I do it jumps back up to the top..

so annoying....

it's not the site that is questionable, it's not happening here, you're right...it is not happening here. i was HOPING you might have an answer for when it does happen.

are u saying that the site im at is not mac compatible or something ????

How many sites does this occur on?
What OS are you using?
Are you using the latest version of Safari, and is it Safari 3 or 4?

If it is just one site, then it is very likely a scripting error on that site, it should fix the issue by disabling javascript, but generally you can't use anything on that page without it

So the problem is WEB SITE that's causing the problem, not Safari.

Because it doesn't happen no legit web sites.

Also, you need to read the rules, you are bumping your posts against the rules.
