So i was just looking at the sticky thread "Post Pictures taken with your 3gs!"

I was looking through the pictures, and they looked amazing. But i was skeptical if they were taken by an Iphone or not. So i ran them through an ExifViewer, and it showed me the exact location on a Google Map where the picture was taken. Scary $h!t for people posting pictures now!

Site I used:

This is not new and when looking for example I found a few pictures you took with the geotagged data in them

I believe the original iPhone will also add the location to the picture as well.

I dont know, just ran my pictures through the same exif data, and didnt do it. And i always have my Location Services on too.

I took the picture of the OP of the "Post pictures taken with your 3GS". And when you run the picture through exif Data it shows the map with an arrow on it.

edit: Also using your webapp thingy also gives the location, you just have to press the "at google" option

Map via encoded GPS coordinates: at Google, at Yahoo!
(also see the Google Maps pane below)

Definately not new. Most the pictures I've taken on my 3G get pinpointed on a map in iPhoto '09.
