Does anyone know if either of the 19’ MacBook pros support wpa3? I know it doesn’t have the new WiFi, but you don’t need that to support it. I haven’t heard any talk of it anywhere. My router already has it, and I had to turn it off do to compatibility issues.

Catalina brought WPA3 support for newer Macs. I think 2015 onwards. Perhaps includes 2013 and 2014 too.

My 2018 13" MBP running Catalina gives me options for WPA2/WPA3 or WPA3 when connecting to a network. I don't have any WPA3 networks to actually connect to, however. I believe WPA3 support was a feature that came with Catalina for newer Macs.
