Anyone do any on the go writing on their large phone? How practical is it? I don’t do social media and don’t play games but was curious about the large screen for on the go writing when to mood strikes. Anyone use it for that purpose? Any advice?

It’s still a phone and the experience is pretty much the same. You get used to the keyboard on any phone. The screen doesn’t make any difference in terms of composing documents.

Actually I can type much faster on the smaller iPhones than the big ones simply because the keyboard letters are closer together so my finger doesn't have as far a distance to move between keys. I type one handed using hunt & peck with my index finger and when I'm on a roll, I can fly through a long page of text almost like typing on a laptop.

You wouldn't think that having the keys farther apart on a bigger keyboard would slow down the typing, but for me it definitely does. It's a looong finger reach to get from the "a" to the "p".

But that's just speed. I prefer to use the big iPhones for everything except carrying in a shirt pocket.

Larger phones also increase my error rate. I was most accurate on the 4 series.

I couldn’t type a single lengthy error free text on this thing to save my life. I had to go back and correct two errors on that first sentence alone.

I’ve never had this issue this on any other device. I think it’s a combination of the lack of a bottom bezel and the aspect ratio .

SO pretty much iPad mini for typing with both thumbs is the way to go. Good to know. giant phone not a productive tool it seems.
Where did u read ipad here?
As long as u don’t use a keyboard case or separate Bluetooth keyboard u won’t be productive.

Talking about beeing productive, just use a laptop;)
