I am not sure where this post actually might go (and if a mod moves it, thx!!)

I am looking to know how to type a certain letter in Spanish that is easily done using windows (press and hold the ALT button and type 164 on the # keypad) but have trouble using the G4 keyboard.

I looked at this page to see if I could find my answer.......guessed I was wrong.

So now I am at the mercy of the forum.

I thank each and all for the help!

You can probably find what you're looking for in Special Characters under the Edit menu. Try the tab for Accented Latin. It would probably also help if we knew which letter you were wanting to input.

what character?

i have no point of reference when you tell me it works on a PC

but i typed compositions in spanish for my glass and got pretty good with the short cuts.

it would be the letter n with a mark on top, it sounds like nje

ALT + n = ~
ALT + n and then n again = ñ…

No need for Windows style ALT + number pad…

This is in any application.

You want it any easier?
 ;)

EDIT: It is called a tilde BTW.
"Si Señor, the hairy grill"

:) thank you will try it later tonight, running bootcamp/XP now.....
