Writing on the back of 3GS brighter or different then 3G...take a look, thoughts?

Notice the "iPhone" part is much brighter then that of the 3G, according to these pictures on Apple's site. I don't think there would be a difference in the pictures if there really wasn't some difference. Maybe they're using the same metallic looking finish as the Apple logo now?

and people were complaining because Apple didn't make any physical alterations to the 3G.:D
 
gizmodo posted comparison shots of the new iphone vs a black 3g..the new phone has metallic lettering along with the apple logo...
they since took the whole article down..it was up for a couple minutes rightafter the keynote
 
I Noticed this too.

Gives the phone a tad more WOW factor, still wonder if its all the writing, or just the 'iPhone' Part in silver.
 
now people will start holding their phones funny so everyone can see the apple logo and "iphone"....and the size of your package (16or32)
 
Looks nice - but I liked the faded font that it was before on the 3G. Made the black looks ominous and almost slate like.
 
Personally, I like that it's brighter on the white model. I don't really care to see all the little info like the FCC info and storage space. The apple logo shows up nicer, and looks a hell of a lot better than the 3G.

I was debating whether or not to upgrade, but this just pushed me over the edge.
 
Why did gizmodo take down their hands on? Any way to get it through google cashe or something?
 
I like the brighter lettering, but i dont like all that FCC info **** get rid of that stuff apple and it will make the back superb :) As for the white I think a little contrast of some black would look kinda schmexy

I agree. I don't like the FCC info on the back at all. I'm assuming they have no choice, but on my original iPhone it only has the FCC ID, srial and IMEI no., etc., and not all the symbols, and its really small.
 
i discovered this yesterday and posted....but nobody seemed to care :(

woe is me :rolleyes:

but really, im glad this change occurred...at least its SOMETHING to distinguish between the new and old...i also like it better


it's no matte back though :(
