Wrong app icons

Occasionally the icons seem to get mixed up and display the wrong icon the the application. 3GS - Never happened on OS2

That's very odd. You might want to make a backup and do a restore of your phone. Usually doing that will make those odd problems go away.

That happened to me regularly during the beta tests of OS3 but I've not seen it on my phone since the final release (strangely enough I have seen it in the simulator during development!).


Looks like the bug is still around though and will hopefully be fixed in a future release

Do a hard reboot and it should reset... the top button and the home key.

Makes no difference. You need to re-install the faulty apps.

This is a known bug..I've seen it reported a bunch. Hopefully apple will fix in their next update..
