wrong date in my macbook ,why ?

i Bought a second hand macbook from the online apple store.When it arrive i set up the date and the time and it show in the display the normal date and time.But in thne itunes library, in the old skype message, in the date of the applications , in the imovie projects,.....the date is always the same: 6 aug 2009, the day i start the mac....and looks like not many people knows what is appening.Do you know? Thanks

Why the need to make a second thread about this? You already got one answer/tip in your first one.
