wrong ipad2 verizon!!

i just realized today that i ordered a verizon ipad 2 instead of the at&t one, which i was planning to use it aboard most of the time..... it's engraved... so i can't return/exchange it...~ does anyone know if they can just change the hardware or something so i could have the ipad 2 to use under gsm instead of cdma?

or should i sell mine (of course at a discounted price, since it's engraved)? it's actually being shipped to me, and the expected delivery date is 3/22.... so i am pretty sure it's been engraved already!
 
ouch, expensive mistake.

i was looking at an "iPad 2 3G 64GB *IN LONDON* " auction yesterday, noticed it had one bidder at £800 already.

Buried deep in the description was a bit of text saying "Verizon model".

That poor bidder has also just made an expensive mistake as they are useless here.
 
If it's too late to cancel the order and If the engraving is not too personal, you should be able to sell it on with the current high demand??

Just find someone else named boobeboobeboo...

And there is the reason the never get anything engraved...not to mention because when the iPad 3 comes out and you want to sell it people won't pay as much

Exactly..... I never get my ipods/ipads/etc. engraved.

+1 I had my last one engraved and I had to sell it for $100 less than the rest of them were going for on ebay at the time. Luckily this time I didn't get it engraved this time so I won't have to go through that again this time next year. :apple:

Just like a tattoo....but it seemed like a good idea at the time.:D
