Hello,
I have two MacBook Pro's. Let's call them MP1 & MP2. MP1 is a little newer and faster than MP2. Both of them are connected to my iCloud account. MP2 also has a compromised keyboard (daughter sprayed it with windex so some of the keys are shorted out) so I use a bluetooth keyboard. I only use MP2 for AirPlay to my Apple TV...
Anyway, this morning I woke up to find that MP1 had been synched somehow to MP2. MP1 is now a mirror image of MP2. I am guessing this happened somehow through the iCloud? MP1 is my primary machine and everything that is work related for me is gone. Thankfully I have a Time Capsule and could restore it from last night.
Question is... How do I prevent this from happening again. I just waste three hours restoring MP1 to a back up from last night.
