This is actually an issue that has been ongoing through several version of OS X and it is continuing in El Capitan. My designated contact cards contains all of my contact information including primary phone, address, work phone, work address, etc.
Auto complete in Safari will select randomly the information from the contact card when completing fields in web pages. One time it will use my work information. Another time it will use my home information. It is completely random which details are used. I have ordered the information on the contact card with the information I want to use at the top. That does not work.
The only work around that I have been able to figure out is to create a second contact card that has only the information I want to use. This is pretty lame to have to do this.
anyone have a solution other that the one I use? Please don't suggest reordering the contact information...that doesn't work.
