iPod touch Wrong Tune!

I've just had a bit of a surprise while listening to my 32GB iPod touch. The last piece in a series was replaced by an item from quite a different CD though the title was still what should have been playing. On my iMac, iTunes played the right tune. What's going on?

Latest Developments

I changed the details of the series of tunes that I wanted to listen to and that series is now OK. However, the tune that I was hearing but shouldn't (see original post) has disappeared from where it should be.

Is this normal? Have I now got to reset my iPod touch?

it might help to restore, but try going to settings and erase all data first, should do the trick
