If I was a betting person I would say the at the direction of ATT they told Apple and T-Mobile that they should not be release and iPhone on T-Mobile if the merger is to go through. That way they can offer T-Mobile people a *special* deal to get the iPhone 4/5 by moving over to an ATT plan with capped data.

If the merger fails then T-Mobile will get the iPhone.

Sucks about the delay. But I love it being on more networks. Better chances it will be ONE phone (I think that's a safe bet now). No more VZW and ATT versions. I'll take one unlocked and go paygo thank you.
