Why is it so hard to find these things out there? I havnt found a reputable seller that has them in stock months after their 'release' by WD.

I am getting ready to set up a new MBP with a 2 drive solution and I want something bigger then the 500gb + intel SSD setup I had in my last MBP. I know the 640gb WD Blue drive is an option, but I dont think that is a significant jump in capacity.

Probably there is not a big enough demand or they are/have released a newer model. Also, try editing the title so more people know what your talking about

I made the title intentionally obtuse to avoid posts telling me "that wont fit you know" from the ill informed!

I will look into the new part number though!
