WTF Apple? Issues with ATV4K and HomePods as TV speakers and 14.1 firmware.

Audio sync issues all over the place with no surprise Apples own native app being the best. But here is no way to adjust it except the stupid auto sync calibration. YouTube app major lip sync audio delays like 2 seconds with no way of adjusting it! No EQ functionality in any of the apps, in Apple TV setting, nowhere! Seriously? Can’t even set basic cutoff frequencies, speaker sizes for fronts, designate a subwoofer on airplay2.
 
Why would you want frequency cutoffs, speaker size etc while using HomePods? That's usually left up to a surround processor/receiver and 5.1 speaker system.
 
I a perfect world or anechoic chamber maybe but in the real world you need control to make adjustments to room, media and volume.
