It's just unbearable. I'm sharing my connection from my G4 iMac to a Macbook.

Pages wont load at all(yahoo network) and very slow. I tried the network settings and everything seems to be working correctly.

Anyone have any solutions....

thank you!

Are you using airport extreme base station or some other product?

OS X lets you share an internet connection to other computers via ethernet airport card or firewire cable.

It's easy to set up and has worked awesome in the past.

My G4 iMac is wired and shares to my Macbook through its Airport Extreme card.

Ok are both of them having problems loading pages? and what I was asking was what router do you use to get on the internet (linksys, belkin, symbol etc)

sorry...

No, the iMac is fine it's only the Macbook. I use a motorola surfboard cable modem. It's been restarted and rebooted.

Next step would be connect the ethernet from the modem to see if it's just the Macbook....I would have done that sooner but it was in use....
