Hey everybody,
It's almost a week until WWDC, and I haven't seen a WWDC '10 Widget yet, so I figured I'd make my own. And I also figured I'd share it with all of you (links below)

Please note, this is the first real dashboard widget I've ever made, so don't expect perfection. If you run into any issues, just reply here (so everybody can see it) and i'll do my best to fix it.

One thing i'm unsure about is the time it's set to. It's counting down to 1:00PM EST (Which means it'll likely count down to 1:00PM your local time instead of 10 AM PST)

Either way, I like it and I hope you will too

Enjoy!

Excellent job.

Let me get that from the App Store.
Oops I forgot iPhone doesn't run widgets. :D

All joking aside, this is a beautiful widget. Keep up with the good work.

Awesome job! Thanks for that!

(I liked the big one, too, but didn't have room for it without covering up other widgets on my 15" screen. I had to go with the small one. :) )

great job, just want i needed to become even more obsessive.

Nice touch with the cloudapp, best file sharing for mac ever made

Well, as of just a few seconds ago, the Unofficial WWDC '10 Countdown Widget has been downloaded 102 times. Interesting note, the small version is a little more than two times more popular than the large version (73 downloads versus 29). Anyway, thanks to everybody who downloaded it (and hopefully enjoys it!). As of right about now, we're five days, eighteen hours and fifteen minutes away from the WWDC keynote. Will we see new MacBook Airs? Mac Pros? updates to Final Cut Studio? Perhaps a new iLife/iWork suite? Or mention of Mac OS X 10.7? Maybe a cameo appearance from Gray Powell? Nobody knows, but we'll all see in... five days, eighteen hours, and thirteen minutes. Anyways, for everybody who already downloaded the widget, and those just finding out about it, thanks. And I've got something that might turn out to be pretty cool in store for when the iPhone 4/iPhone OS 4 release date is announced.

Cheers.

ahh forget WWDC. Lets get ready for E3!

sigh B-but, WWDC is like, only five and a half days away, and E3 is like, two and a half weeks away, and I don't know if I can sit on the edge of my seat for two and a half weeks. Plus, after WWDC, we'll all have something(s) to "Ooohh" and "Aww" about, and that should be enough to hold me over until E3.

Oh jeez. I thought it was next week as well. Oh well.... sigh

151 downloads! And only 4 days, 19 hours and 37 minutes!

Speaking of WWDC, I hope we get OS 4.0 soon. I'm sure we won't get it until we get the iPhone HD/4G/G4/3GSS (Which, although I'm not in the market for it, I hope it comes soon so we can get OS 4 soon)

I just hope it's going to be possible to hack around the multitasking limitation on my 2G iPod Touch. As much as I love :apple: and the things it makes, I think i'll wait just one more year before upgrading. In the meantime, I hope that it's at least possible to enable some of the otherwise restricted (and much beloved) features. I know it won't be pretty, but it should be possible. They said Leopard wasn't really that good on anything less than an Intel-based Mac, but here I am running 10.5.8 on my eight year old G4 Ti.

Well, we'll all know in... 4 days, 19 hours, 27 minutes.
