Apple's WWDC 2023 begins today, with the event kicking off at 10:00 am Pacific Time via the traditional opening keynote. We know that some MacRumors readers who can't follow the event as it's being broadcast are interested in avoiding all of the announcements and waiting until the event video is available for on-demand viewing so as to experience it without already knowing the outcome.

For those individuals, we've posted this news story, which will be updated with a direct link to the presentation once it becomes available from Apple. No other news stories or announcements will be displayed alongside this story.

Replays of Apple's recent events have been made available to view almost immediately following the conclusion of the broadcasts, and we expect similar timing for today's event.

Users waiting for the video to be posted are welcome to gather in the thread associated with this news story, and we ask that those who follow the events as they occur refrain from making any posts about Apple's announcements in this thread.

Update: The full video is available on Apple's website as a direct link to the video file with no spoilers.

It's happening! Be good to see the reality after all this speculation and contradictory stories.

I will be LMAO if they don't announce the headset at all!

I say this as an avid Apple fan - Do you mean there are people who would choose to sit through that two hours of self-aggrandizing puffery as opposed to fast-forwarding over the finished video?

yeah, there is usually way too much stuff i'm not interested in and i like to fast forward. i don't mind spoilers tho, it is childish.

I still don't see the event on Apple TV?

One of the perks of owning a Samsung Smart TV - despite it's crappy and slow OS - is that it has Apple TV built-in

Yeah baby, bring on the puffery! It's all a show, enjoy the entirety. Yes there's a lot of "ain't Apple great?" but they do it so well you gotta appreciate it! Plus it's only a few times a year, and it builds the expectation and excitement. I know, I know, I'm completely falling for their carefully calculated marketing speil. Don't care, bring it on!

I might be more picky and choosy over what I want to see and hear. If they save the headset for last, it might butt out early, or put it on mute and listen to another podcast or something.

Anyone know if the stream can be started from the beginning for those not able to make the start (but don’t want to wait a couple of hours for it to be finished and uploaded to start watching it)

I'm pretty sure you can rewind it to the beginning from apple tv

Will this post be updated if/when the YouTube video will be available on the Apple YouTube channel? 🙏

I was browsing through YouTube really quick this morning for something unrelated, and saw a HUGE Apple ad on the top for [redacted].😭 I tried so hard to avoid spoilers until I could watch the video after work. 🤣

We generally don't link to or embed the YouTube version in this thread because it has spoilers in the description and usually elsewhere on the page.

But if you want to try to jump straight into full-screen mode without looking at anything else on the page, you can get to the YouTube version here.
