Apple's WWDC 2024 begins today, with the event kicking off at 10:00 am Pacific Time via the traditional opening keynote. We know that some MacRumors readers who can't follow the event as it's being broadcast are interested in avoiding all of the announcements and waiting until the event video is available for on-demand viewing so as to experience it without already knowing the outcome.

For those individuals, we've posted this news story, which will be updated with a direct link to the presentation once it becomes available from Apple. No other news stories or announcements will be displayed alongside this story.

Replays of Apple's recent events have been made available to view almost immediately following the conclusion of the broadcasts, and we expect similar timing for today's event.

Users waiting for the video to be posted are welcome to gather in the thread associated with this news story, and we ask that those who follow the events as they occur refrain from making any posts about Apple's announcements in this thread.

Update: The full video is available on Apple's website as a direct link to the video file with no spoilers.

I'll have it up in the background, but just for the noise. Don't really expect anything to be announced that I will be interested in. At least based on the rumors so far.

Probably the first time in many years I won't watch the WWDC keynote live but read a synopsis later. I'm just not that interested to see Apple torpedo its platforms with "Ai IsN't ThE fUtUrE iT's ThE pReSeNt" like so many others.
Same.
Just not excited for what is to come like I use too.
Maybe I’m just tired of being told this is the best whilst thinking they are late to the party all the time.

What’s the most battery friendly way of live streaming it? Through Apple’s site via Safari, YouTube, AppleTV or…?

I am always excited to watch another WWDC. Why? Because why not? All it takes is having a pop up window from Apple TV run in the background.

It's always exciting to see what awaits for us both in the consumer space as well as enterprise with these Apple announcements and after seeing Microsoft shoot themselves on the foot with Recall, I am expecting to see Apple up their game in that aspect.

Even if Apple doesn't live to anyone expectations, with the AI announcements, there are other things that WWDC keynote brings to the table and for people like me, its crucial to be up to date.

Besides, if none of that is good enough reason then maybe we get lucky to see Hairforce Craig Fedirighi on the stage.

It's been a while since I have needed this thread (see my siggy), but I am working right now so I am glad this is available so I can quickly find the link after it is over!
