I believe the displays in the 13" Macbook just received a refresh and are reported to be higher quality than before. It would be a stretch to then eliminate the entire line. I mean, it would make more sense to keep everything the same then switch everything over. Hopefully i'm wrong.
 
I don't think that this is going to happen.
This seems to confusing, apple likes to have a clean lineup.
We will see soon though!
 
The GPU updates don't make sense because the GT 130 is crappier than the 9600 GT as it is a 9600 GS rebrand.

And if they mid range model is 2.93GHz, what is the BTO option?

It's a Nvidia 9650 GS rebrand with a die shrink. I would be pretty dissapointed if Apple did not use the GT 130m.

I think a $799 MB might be a little far fetched buy it would be amazing. I'm still currious to if a 13in MBP will come out but the only way I can see that happening is if they have dedicated graphics.
