Has anyone ever bought memory from www.memory4cheap.com ?

for $67, I can buy 512 mb of RAM. This is considerably less expensive than everywhere else I have looked.

I have heard many horror stories from people saying that bad RAM messed up their computers. I just want to make sure that this won't be the case.

Any help would be great.

Thanks,
Chris

cheap ram

I haven't used memory4cheap.com. That name just scares me bit. I don't want to be kicking myself in the head when the RAM decides to take a dump on my big project at 2 AM.

My choice ending up being MacSolutions.com. The RAM that I bought was 2 modules of 512MB PC2700 DDR RAM. It has a lifetime return policy if anything goes wrong. That's comforting. And it was only $78 a piece.

Not as cheap as memory4cheap.com, but I think it was worth it. Also MacSolutions is in Los Angeles and I just went to their store to get it. Impulse buying is usually the best kind of spending.

Hope this helps.

Wow!

ramseeker is great. I can't believe that I have never read about it in all the lurking I do on these forums.

Mac Solutions is a good idea. The warranty eases my fears a little bit.

Thanks for your help!
