i need to get x code for my class as there programs do not work for mac.

so on the leapord dvd
i went
optional instals
x code tools
then i just downloaded x code tools because i thought it was just like the basic app.

it took forever to download and now i cannot find it or have ever used it.

did i do something wrong?
how do i download x code.

any help would be great as i have a project i have not started on that is due tomorrow.
i also have eclipse but my teacher said it would be a lot easier to use x code.

you were right the first time. XCode is on the Leopard DVD in the "Developer Tools" along with other awesome developer apps. save your bandwidth and install it off the DVD.

ya but where is it?
i have not found any app or file named x code

It is usually situated on Macintosh HD, in the folder Developer , and then in the subfolder Applications. Or you could use spotlight and search for xCode of course.
