Hey folks,

So just today I was chilling with my MBA (unplugged), and shut the lid on standby. When I re-opened it, it was blank and I presumed it ran out of battery and proceeded to charge it. Upon charging and the MBA starting up again, I noticed the 'X' mark on the battery icon which also claims 'No battery available'.

I let my Mac charge for a while, shut it down, closed all my running applications, etc. -- but to no avail. According to my System Report, it claims that there is no battery detected.

I am still using my MBA fine as long as the charger is plugged in (albeit way slower than normal, and I'm running my apps and browser tabs very minimally), but once the charger is unplugged the MBA shuts down.

Any idea how I can fix this? Thank you kindly in advance.
