So I'm considering buying one of these, X-Rite i1Display Pro, however I have some questions. I have a macbook pro, if it comes with a CD how do i install the software??

Does anyone else have one of these or use one?

You can download the latest i1 profiler from their site. The hardware itself acts as a license key. It acts as its own dongle key to validate the software license. They also work with certain oem packages like spectraview or color navigator. I use it with color navigator. I haven't tried it on a rmbp. I would say don't go too crazy with settings. Typically I would start with native, as it still rebuilds an appropriate profile. Just remember that there are no low level hardware controls to adjust the rmbp. Everything is just a profile based adjustment.
