X (Twitter) no longer opening

For the last several days, X has been crashing immediately after opening. I still get notifications, but within a couple of seconds of tapping on them, the app closes. There seems to be no update available in the app store. I don't know how long each operating system tends to be supported by developers but it seems a bit soon to drop iOS 16?

I am having the same problem with my Mac desktop using the 15.0.1 OS. Also, when I have tried to log in to X on the web I keep having to change my password.

Mine has been working OK since a couple of days after my original post, when the app received an update.
