Hello every1,
So i bought MATLAB to use for class and it requires X11. It doesn't appear in apps-> utilities and when i try to install it from my Macbook's OS X Install Disc it doesn't appear as an option under the Additional Software. Any ideas?

Pop in the Installer DVD, navigate to it in the Finder, scroll down, go to "Optional Installs", and install X11.app from there.

On a lot of the install discs, you'll have to scroll down to the bottom of the window to find this installer file. It should be on disc 1. If you don't see X11 in the list, you're in the wrong installer. For some reason, a lot of people get tripped up in this process.
