I've been trying to use GIMPShop. Each time I go to open it, it won't open because it says i don't have X11 installed. But, each time i go to install X11, it says it can't because it's already installed on my hard drive.

I have the same problems with Inkscape.

Put in disk 1 of te tiger install disk that came with your machine, search in spotlight for x11, you should fina a package, install it...

Do you in fact have X11 installed? It would be in Applications --> Utilities. Can you open it directly from there?

If it's not there, is it possible it may have been installed at one time and deleted? If so, try a Spotlight search for "x11 pkg" and see if it pulls up any pkg files for X11. They'd likely be called X11User.pkg and X11SDK.pkg. If those are present but the program itself is not, I'd go ahead and delete those pkg files and then reinstall X11 from your install disc.
