Hi
Im running leopard 10.5.8 on a powerbook G4.
When i open terminal and run an X11 application - xclock or xeyes eg - nothing happens. The cursor blinks but nothing happens. Ive recently installed Xcode 3.1.4 if that is of any relevance.
Just wondering if there is something simple I have missed.
X11 is installed as the relevant directories are all there.
Ive just looked in the applications/utilities folder and x11.app is not there.
update:
I went here
http://xquartz.macosforge.org/trac/wiki/X112.6.1
and installed X11-2.6.1.dmg (Leopard)
X11 now works. x11.app has appeared in the utilities folder.
apparently
>>>>>>
Mac OS-X Updates (Leopard Only)
You will need to re-install this package after future OS, and Security Updates delivered through Apple's Software Update. Additionally, you should reinstall this package after installing XCode.

so installing xcode must have trashed x11.app
