X360 DVD (liteon) drive failure. Can't figure out what's wrong

Going to try and keep this short...

1. Got an Xbox with a broken DVD drive
2. Opened it up and ordered a replacement drive
3. Drive arrived and I found out I can't simply swap out the logic board

So then I go on to try and replace individual parts of the drive. I tried replacing:
1. The lens
2. The lens motor
3. The rotating motor

It still won't read discs. I can't figure out why not. I practically replaced every part of the drive except the logic board.

Any idea why it STILL won't work?
