Okay guys this is a weird one. I have a Radeon x800 pro for PC. I have flashed over and modified it to work in a Macintosh G4 as an x850 XTPE. That's forced AGP-4X. The Macintosh card has an ADC port and a DVI port. The PC card has VGA and DVI. This card will not display anything on digital DVI but it does work with adapter on analog DVI. The VGA port will not display desktop but does display video. I suspect, the retail ROM for the Macintosh card is written incorrectly to deal with the VGA and DVI as opposed to the ADC and DVI. Can anyone give me information on coding a new BIOS ROM for this card to facilitate digital DVI on it? Perhaps an amalgamation of a couple different ROMs?

thats standard fair, only FireGL X3's have functioning digital outputs when flashed

and theres no known means to edit the ROM to fix the port mapping to that of a PC X800/X850 (even then it would also have to rely on MacOS having a suitable personality for it also)

both ports should work as analog outputs tho, make sure you have the ATI 4.5.7 software installed if your using a reduced X800 ROM (and keep in mind X850 ROMs cant be reduced unless you extract the NDRV and manually install it to disk first)
