Hello,

some time ago i bought a new X800 XT Mac Edition off Ebay for a reasonable price;
unfortunately during the shipping something must have gone wrong and the capacitors on the "tail" broke off (2 violet ones).

the seller was very friendly and gave the money back and let me hold the card;

now it was some years in cellar, but i would like have repair to give some boost to Powermac G5 (sadly no Linux with this card as it seems).

My question:

Does anyone of you have a good picture or can write me down the number on the capacitors so that i can order the correct ones?

The (violet) ones on the front have written

626 svpc 1500 2.5

and if i am not mistaken the ones on the back are the same but i would like to have this confirmed by someone who has this card or knows about it. Sadly, i throwed the broken ones away, as i probably thought wont have any use for them anymore.

Hopefully the right person picks up the thread.

Thank you very much.

Is all you need readable? If not, tell me which capacitor is needed. The two on the right are replacements. Manufacturer is Panasonic.

Thanks, thats the picture i needed.

However,
I have gone through the list, but i cannot decide which is the proper part

there seem to be 2 variants available for both the upper and the lower part,
one "M" and one "MX" variant,

might need professional help on this!

The “upper” capacitor (909 SVP 470 6) leads to a choice between a 6SVP470MX in the F8 case size or a 6SVP470M in the E12 case size. Page 16 (“image of case size”) shows that E12 is a taller capacitor with an 8mm diameter, while the F8 has a 10mm diameter. The pin pitch of a DVI connector is 1.9mm (0.075"), so I compared the capacitor width to the DVI pins. It looks like it takes up about four inter-pin spaces, so these are 8mm capacitors, to be replaced with the 6SVP470M (E12 package).

For the “lower” capacitor (835 SVP 180 16), there is the same choice - I think that you want the 16SVP180M for the same reason.

It looks like Digikey has both capacitors in stock right now.
EDIT: Looks like you’re in Italy; here they are on Digikey’s Italy site:

Good luck!
