xbench on my ibook

so i ran xbench on my ibook with everything closed on my mac (its the one in my sig) it only scored 32.15, the display went dim in the middle of it, and i bumped the mouse so it would become bright again, would that causeit to be so low.....I want to do it so i can get the highest score possible and I no that i can smoke that score, because my 600mhz G4 did. Any suggestions?

Were you running the same version of xbench as you did with the G4 as the iBook?

When I first got my G5 I ran xbench 1.1.3 and got 260+, but when I downloaded the newest version the other day I got somewhere around 130 with v1.2.
