Xbox 360 and macs?

I was just looking around on the forum and i see that in a lot of pics of set ups ect, lots of ppl have their xbox 360 next to there mac, s this to just show off or is there something to do with xbox and macs?

alot of people use it for xbox live, they use there mac internet connection and share it with the 360 to play on xbox live.

Thats one of the options you can do.

edit: and off course just using there mac screen to play their 360
