Xbox 360 / Connect 360 / External HDD

Hi,

I've recently bought an Xbox 360 and I'm trying to figure out the best
way to use my XBox 360 and an external HDD (plugged into XBox 360)
as a media centre.

Is there a way to wirelessly transfer files from the MBP to the external HDD
conencted to the Xbox 360?

Connect 360 only appears to stream files from the MBP...but I'm more
interested in storing files on the external HDD (MPB is running out of HDD space)

Is this possible? The Xbox 360 is connected to a Linksys modem/router
via ethernet cable, which the MBP is also connected to wirelessly.
