I'm trying to get my Xbox Controller (Wired) to work on my mac and I have downloaded all the latest drivers

and restarted my computer with the controller plugged in and not plugged in, I've started up both the drivers without the controller plugged in and I've put the controller in both USB sockets. When I plug the Xbox Controller in the green X button in the middle flashes for about a second then goes off. If I press the green X nothing happens. (I haven't actually tried to see if this controller works on an Xbox, but it definetly should other wise I've been ripped off
)
Also, sometimes this pops up when I open the tattiebogle driver.
