Let me preface this by saying I know next to nothing about xbox 360. I only bought it cause I wanted to play Halo 3 (played the first two on xbox). I managed to play through Halo before the optical drive crapped out, so I sent it back to Amazon and they sent me a new one, but I think this one drops frames cause when I play Gears of War it appears to stutter sometimes.

My newest problem is that when I play Splinter Cell Double Agent I can't quick save. The Manual states that I should have the quick save option above the save option. I can save, but I then have to specify the Hard Drive as the storage location every time and it takes forever. (I have no other way to save but to the hard drive). So my question is - Do I need to do something or set something so that I have the ability to quick save? Can I set the hard drive as the default location so it doesn't ask me every time.

I have an Xbox elite 360 with HDMI.

Thanks for the help
