xbox 360 to speakers

hello, i am hooking up my 360 to my monitor. obviously there is no audio. i want to hook up my 360 to my speakers. could i hook up the red and white audio connectors shown here.

then connect the headphone jack to my klipsch 2.1's.

just wondering how people get audio from their xbox with it hooked up to a lcd monitor thanks.

yep - that will work fine as long as you are going into a line-in or AUX port on your speakers.
