xbox 360 wireless adapter as wifi for my computer?

Most likely not. I think the hardware was designed specifically for the 360, and thus probably won't with a computer. That's a guess, though, because I haven't tried it.

You could always get an Airport Express to do essentially the same thing, or something like this.
