I want to get an xbox 360 at some point in the near future and it would not be in a place where it would be able to connect to the internet via a wire so I was wondering; I've heard of people using things like D-link wireless routers to connect the 360 wirelessly... I was wondering how to do this. (Don't want to drop 100 bucks on the first party peripheral.)

If you have a computer nearby you can try Router (wireless) > computer (wire) > 360

yeah i have this done with my computer. as long as you have a wireless router, and an ethernet cable to connect the 360 to your computer you're good to go. since i assume you'll be using a mac for this, check out the link below as it's not exactly simple to make your mac and 360 work together.

Didn't think the mac and 360 would communicate well... thank you! (macs are what i have but they're 30 feet away from the tv...)
