Just bought my first imac 27 i5 3.2ghz and have been in the pc land for the last 15 years so looking forward to the challenges ahead. Imac gets delivered next week and im wondering what lead i need to connect it the xbox. Sorry if its a total noob question but I wont know I dont ask! Would you also recommend applecare for a noob?

You mean to use the iMac as a display for the xBox? Sorry...the new iMacs only accept video input from other Mac's thunderbolt output. You could get a video capture card like elgato but it would put in a lag

There is not currently an option to use your iMac screen for your Xbox.

AppleCare is a personal choice. I got it with mine. You have a whole year to make up your mind as you are covered until then anyhow.
