Xbox controller/apple bluetooth issue

Hi,

New to the forum here. I have a 2011 iMac. I've been doing some light gaming using the tattieboggle driver. works great on feral equipped games. but whenever i want to quit the game and go back to using the apple wireless keyboard/magic mouse, the connection is lost. i have tried deleting the plist and making both the keyboard/mouse favorites. as a temporary remedy, i am using my iphone's remote mouse feature to safely shut down and restart the computer. any ideas?

Started using a wired mouse when I game. Seems to work. But I would still like to switch between the Xbox controller and wireless keyboard/mouse.

update: the playstation 3 controller works like a charm. seems like it doesnt need a driver for it to be recognized by my mac. gamed for the past few days and haven't experienced the connection loss issue.
