i have had my xbox since a little after christmas. and its warranty is out but it is acting up and freezing and weird stuff like that so i want to trade it in for another one and one of my friends said they will but i dont know how to go about doing that

All 360's come with 3 years warranty so you must still be covered regardless if it is indeed a 360 you have.

If it's an xbox, then I don't know what to suggest.

Just call 1-800-4MY-XBOX and they will ship you a box to send your 360 back to them. My 360 died yesterday and when I talked to microsoft they said the turn around time would be 8-10 weeks which really sucks.

I did that's why I wasnt sure with him saying his warranty was up, when technically NO 360 has passed it's 3 year warranty yet.

There's always some logic to my madness
