I've been trying to find an isight for some time and I'm unwilling to pay ebay prices. I saw the thread where the Xbox live vision camera works natively with 10.4.9 so I tried it with iChat and it obviously did work. Last night I tried it with Delicious Library 1.6.4 and it worked perfectly. I'm not sure how the isight works so I can't say one works better than the other, but at least I don't have to pay upwards of $200 for a camera just to scan my dvd collection!

And the reason for posting this (not that I really need one) is because I searched and searched then e-mailed the makers of Delicious Library and was told no or got the "dunno" answers. So now I know and I'm sharing!

Thanks for that. I wonder of the xbox cameras green light actually helps the barcodes be read... I'll be using it next time I get some books etc.
